THE OASIS FOR ANDREA IYAMAH -  SPACE DESIGNED BY ANDRU LIVING

Nestled in Victoria Island, Lagos, the Andrea Iyamah showroom is a sanctuary of design and artistry, conceived to offer a reprieve from the city’s fast-paced rhythm. This 286-square-meter space was brought to life by ANDRU Living, a sister brand of Andrea Iyamah, known for its mastery of creating immersive interiors that blend elegance with intention.

The vision behind the showroom was clear: to create a space that reflects the Andrea Iyamah ethos of discovery, ease, and self-expression. “We wanted a space that felt like an escape, almost like a bubble in the heart of Lagos,” shared Andrea Iyamah. “It needed to reflect the serenity and openness of places our audience often finds themselves — on vacation, in moments of relaxation and self-discovery.”

To achieve this, ANDRU Living adopted a minimalist yet evocative approach. The design features clean lines, neutral tones, and natural textures, all of which serve as a perfect backdrop for Andrea Iyamah’s vibrant collections. The showroom is bathed in natural light pouring through expansive dome-shaped windows, reinforcing a sense of openness and calm. Circular motifs, inspired by the sun, are a defining element, symbolizing balance, continuity, and light — values deeply embedded in Andrea Iyamah’s identity.

The circular forms appear throughout the space, from the building’s exterior to cutouts in walls and domed doorways. These design choices were as functional as they were symbolic, creating a flow between rooms that feels both seamless and inviting. “We wanted something experiential, something unexpected,” Iyamah explained. “It’s about discovery — even something as ordinary as a doorway can spark excitement when it’s reimagined.”

The collaboration between ANDRU Living and Andrea Iyamah was a natural synergy. “Being sister brands, the process was seamless,” said Iyamah. “ANDRU Living captures how we live in spaces, while Andrea Iyamah represents how we see ourselves. Together, we created something cohesive and intentional.” The result is a space that feels more like an art gallery than a traditional retail environment, seamlessly blending Lagos’s dynamic cultural energy with Andrea Iyamah’s timeless aesthetic.

Designing the showroom was not without its challenges. The team worked with a pre-existing structure, remodeling it to suit the vision. The building’s sturdy architecture posed hurdles, but these challenges became opportunities to innovate, resulting in features like circular cutouts that both intrigued and inspired local artisans.

Today, the Andrea Iyamah showroom is more than a space to showcase fashion; it is a destination in itself. Visitors often linger, not just to shop, but to immerse themselves in the ambiance. “Customers spend time interacting with the space, and many describe a feeling they can’t quite put into words,” said Iyamah. “We want everyone who walks in to feel a sense of elevation, to connect with their identity and leave inspired.”

ANDRU Living’s work on the showroom has set a new standard for the Andrea Iyamah brand, becoming an anchor for future spaces and collections. It stands as a testament to what can be achieved when design and identity align — a place where creativity, culture, and community converge to leave a lasting impression.
